Q. Do you offer emergency medical services ? Do I need to make an appointment for it ?

A Yes we offer veterinary medical emergency services everyday from 8am-12am midnight . No appointments are required for emergencies you can just walk-in with your animal and notify our customer services staff at the checking counter .

Q. How do I know if my animal’s health needs emergency medical attention ?

A Emergency cases vary from case to case some may be very obvious in symptoms and other symptoms could be hardly seen or known until its too late. Its always suggested that you have your animal checked with us on regular basis with our professional , licensed veterinarians.

Some of the very common emergency symptoms could be severely damaged body part or organ , extreme vomiting , excessive diarrhea , no movement , loss of breath , abnormal panting , panting without reason , animal eating or drinking something lethal , severe accident or trauma . In short we say trust your senses and if you feel your animal needs emergency attention then act immediately .  

Q.Do you have an emergency hotline number ?

Unfortunately we do not have a emergency hotline number but we are certainly planning and get one from our telecom service providers. Please subscribe to our mailing list to get timely updates on any new features , services or products we introduce for our customers.

Q. Do you have ambulatory service that could come to my house for emergency?

Our emergency ambulance services are planned to be available from 1^st Sept 2021 . This service will be new service and will be subject to availability. Any updates to this plan will be announced on our social media , newsletters and our website.

Q. Which branch or location do you offer emergency services ? And what are the timings ?

We offer our emergency services at our main branch on the every day from 8am-12 am Midnight .

Q. How much do you charge for emergency medical services ?

A We charge only QAR 400 per animal for emergency consultation and check-up . For additional treatment bandage and pricing you will be informed by our staff at our venue. Alternatively you can find here a basic emergency price list here

Q. How does my animal get emergency attention at Dragon once we arrive there ?

A As soon as you arrive without wasting time please notify our checking counter with your emergency. Should you find our staff busy with another customer or with another matter we still encourage you to politely excuse yourself in order to inform our staff about your emergency . Shortly our vet team will attend your emergency and act accordingly to what is needed to be done and the level of its seriousness .

Meanwhile our customer services staff will be with registering your case on our records .

Q. Up to which age cats are called kittens?

A Globally speaking cats are recognized as kittens until the age of 12 months although cats keep growing until the age of 18 months .

Q. Are kittens fed differently than adult cats ?

A In short the nutritional requirement for kittens are different from adult cats . Kittens have a higher requirement for minerals , proteins and vitamins. Therefore its recommended to feed your kitten with specific food designed for them.

A Its recommended you groom your cats every 4 -5 weeks .Regular grooming helps manage your households cat hair & dander allergy problem. Q. Up to which age dogs are called puppies?

A Globally speaking dogs are recognized as puppies until the age of 12 months although some breeds such as German Shepherds , Rottweiler , Doberman are considered as puppies up to 18 keep months of age .

A In short the nutritional requirement for puppies are different from adult dogs . Puppies are in physical growth stage in their life and have a higher requirement for minerals , proteins and vitamins. Therefore its recommended to feed your puppies with specific food designed for them.
