Privacy Policy
How Dragon Animal Care Center collects, uses and protects your personal information when you visit us, book a service, or contact us online.
Dragon Animal Care Center ("Dragon", "we", "us") operates from Al Duhail South, Doha, Qatar. This policy explains what personal information we handle and the choices you have, in line with Qatar’s Personal Data Privacy Protection Law (Law No. 13 of 2016). By using our website or services you agree to the practices described below.
Information we collect
We collect the details you give us when you book an appointment, board or groom your pet, arrange pet travel, place a shop order for delivery, or message us — such as your name, phone number, email, delivery address, and information about your pet (species, breed, age and medical history). When you pay online, your payment is processed securely by our payment provider and we do not store your full card details. When you visit our website we may also collect basic technical data such as your device type and pages viewed.
How we use your information
We use your information to provide veterinary and pet-care services, confirm and remind you of appointments, keep accurate medical records for your pet, respond to your enquiries on WhatsApp or email, and improve our services. We do not sell your personal information.
Sharing and your rights
We only share information where it is needed to deliver a service you have requested — for example with laboratories for the rabies (RAT) test, with authorities and airlines when arranging pet export and relocation, with our payment provider to process payments, and with delivery partners (such as Snoonu, Talabat and Rafeeq) to fulfil orders. We keep your records only as long as necessary to provide our services and meet legal requirements. Under Qatar’s Personal Data Privacy Protection Law you may ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or object to its processing, at any time by contacting us.
Website, analytics & our providers
Our website (dragons.qa) and our digital marketing and analytics are operated on our behalf by our agency XSAVY GmbH (Germany), acting as a data processor under our written instructions. To run the site and understand how it is used, we rely on a small number of technology providers: DigitalOcean for secure hosting, Google — Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager — for aggregate website measurement, Microsoft — Clarity — for session replay and heatmaps with text and form inputs masked, and MyFatoorah for online payments. We also correspond with you through email and messaging services (including WhatsApp). Each provider may process your data only for these purposes and under appropriate confidentiality obligations. Analytics and session-replay tools load only with your consent, and you can withdraw it at any time.
Recruitment & job applications
If you apply for a job through our careers pages, we collect the information you choose to provide for recruitment — including your name and contact details, a photo (if you add one), nationality and visa/residency status, professional licences and registrations, education and employment history, and your CV and supporting documents. We use this solely to assess your application and manage hiring; we share it with our hiring team and, where relevant, with licensing or verification authorities. We keep application data for the recruitment process and a reasonable period afterwards. Providing this information is voluntary, but some of it is necessary for us to consider you for a role. You may ask us to access or delete your application data at any time.
Your rights & choices
Under Qatar’s Personal Data Privacy Protection Law (Law No. 13 of 2016) you have the right to:
- be informed about how we use your data, and give or withdraw your consent at any time;
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- ask us to correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- ask us to delete your data where it is no longer needed;
- object to, or ask us to limit, certain processing of your data;
- be notified where a breach materially affects your personal data.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below — we respond within a reasonable time and free of charge. If you remain unsatisfied, you may also raise the matter with the competent authority responsible for personal data protection in the State of Qatar.
Data security & international transfers
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. Some of our providers (for example our agency in Germany and global analytics or payment providers) may process data outside Qatar; where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards and require that your data is protected to a standard consistent with Qatar’s Personal Data Privacy Protection Law (Law No. 13 of 2016).
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services, our providers or the law. The version published on this page is always the one that applies, with the date it was last updated shown below.
